Rule's & Regulation
Behavior reflects the academic and social progress of a student.
We expect our students to behave at all times in a manner that reflects the culture, traditions and beliefs of our society and is conductive to a positive working environment. The administration and staff of Flying Birds Pre – Primary & Primary School believe that it is important to encourage and reinforce positive behavioral patterns and to discourage negative behavioral patterns, and rely upon parental support and cooperation to accomplish this objective.
1. Students should behave according to the following guidelines at all times
- Be punctual for school and all classes.(Discipline /Time Management)
- Wear proper school uniform.
- Respect the rights of others and avoid disturbing or interrupting the class.
- Respect and cooperate with teachers, staff and other students.
- Complete the assigned school work.
- Work quietly during class and follow all the instructions of the teacher.
- Obtain the permission of the teacher before asking questions, moving, or addressing the class.
- Keep the class room and school premises clean and tidy at all times.(Should not throw bricks of papers or any wastage in the class rooms).
- Walk quietly and orderly in the corridors when moving around the school.
- Respect school property and property of others.
- Behave in honest and honorable manner.
2. Unacceptable Conduct
The following types of behavior are unacceptable and should be avoided at all times.
- Displaying a negative attitude towards society and school.
- Taking or damaging property belonging to the school.
- Showing disrespect towards others.
- Cheating during test or examinations.
- Falsifying school reports and certificates.
- Fighting, bullying or violent behavior towards others.
- Throwing or using objects in a manner that may hurt others.
- Chewing gums while on school premises
- Littering the school or campus.
3. Develop and Reinforce Positive Behavioral Patterns
Ways to develop and reinforce positive behavioral patterns, teachers should always try to encourage and reinforce positive behavior in students. Below are some guidelines that will help to develop such attitude.
- Treat student in a fair and non discriminatory fashion at all times.
- Consider the age and needs of all students.
- Develop activities that show positive behavior.
- Praise/encourage positive behavior, efforts and work done.
4. Record keeping
The school shall keep records of all disciplinary actions taken in the file of each student for referral at any time. Parents shall be informed at all stages if a student is behaving in an unacceptable manner. Their help and cooperation shall be sought in order to solve the problem and steer the student back onto the correct path
